This blog initially set out to focus primarily on Islam and the Islamisation of the UK. However, since that time the subjects covered have broadened. They now include (amongst other things): IQ tests, Jean Baudrillard, global warming, sociobiology, Marxism, Trotskyism, David Cameron, Foucault, Nazism, Ralph Miliband, economics, statistics and so on. - Paul Austin Murphy
I've had articles published in The Conservative Online, American Thinker, Intellectual Conservative, Human Events, Faith Freedom, Brenner Brief (Broadside News), New English Review, etc... (Paul Austin Murphy's Philosophy can be found here.)

A Telegraph & Argus (Bradford) Letter About the 'Anti-Islam Film'

Photo: A TELEGRAPH & ARGUS LETTER ABOUT THE ‘ANTI-ISLAM FILM’

There was a letter in yesterday’s Telegraph & Argus (Bradford). A Maddheea Iqbal, of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, sent it.

This community often writes letters to the T & A, though I’m not sure if this man has done so before.

The Ahmadiyya portray themselves as ‘peaceful’ in virtually every letter they send. That may be the case. However, most of those letters start off all sweetness and light and always end with typical Islamic anger and many vituperations against all things Western

Have the Ahmadiyya discovered - or contrived - a nice niche for themselves – as THE TRUE Peaceful Muslims (which begs the question against other types of Muslim)? Maybe. However, not only does every other Muslim sect despise the Ahmadiyya, they don’t even think they are Muslims!

Madheea Iqbal says that it was ‘obvious this film was going to cause an uproar in the Muslim world’. Was it? He’s probably right on that. Anyway. This man, this Muslim must have a low opinion of his fellow Muslims if it is ‘obvious’ that they riot, kill and bomb in response to ANY criticism of the prophet (peace be beneath him). You see, Madheea, most people of other faiths - and none - don’t react like that. And it’s strange that a soi-disant ‘peaceful Muslim’ should more or less excuse the violence or say that it is an ‘obvious’ reaction to a blasphemous film about Mohammed (pbbh).

This moderate and peaceful Muslim also calls for the banning of everything and anything that criticises Muhammad (pbbh) and no doubt Islam too.

Who says that ALL criticism of Islam is the same as ‘deliberately inciting hatred against Islam’? I don’t. Why can’t Muslim make that distinction?

He finishes off his letter with a pregnant statement. He says that

‘Muslims should never portray Islam as a religion of extremes or of violent protest.’

So this film was in the wrong to portray Islam as being extreme and an encourager of violent protests. Yet what did Muslims did in response to this film? They become EXTREME and indulged in VIOLENT PROTEST!!!!!

So perhaps the operative word here is ‘portray’. That is, Islam may well be extreme and violent but it must never be PORTRAYED by a non-Muslim, or Muslims, as being violent or extreme.

And all this from a soi-disant ‘moderate’ and ‘peaceful’ Muslim. Give me the violent ones any day. At least their TAQIYYA is not quit so obvious.

  2. I didn't say that Ahmadiyya are not Muslims. I said that most Muslims - probably all Sunnis - think that they are not Muslims.
