This blog initially set out to focus primarily on Islam and the Islamisation of the UK. However, since that time the subjects covered have broadened. They now include (amongst other things): IQ tests, Jean Baudrillard, global warming, sociobiology, Marxism, Trotskyism, David Cameron, Foucault, Nazism, Ralph Miliband, economics, statistics and so on. - Paul Austin Murphy
I've had articles published in The Conservative Online, American Thinker, Intellectual Conservative, Human Events, Faith Freedom, Brenner Brief (Broadside News), New English Review, etc... (Paul Austin Murphy's Philosophy can be found here.)

Mohamed Merah and the silence of Muslims

As everyone outside of the revolutionary/Marxist left has probably noted, Muslims and Islamic associations have had virtually nothing to say about Mohamed Merah’s killings of Rabbi Jonathan Sandler, his two young sons and the seven-year-old girl, Myriam Monsonego. Similarly, Muslims have said very little - perhaps nothing - about Merah’s murder of three French Muslim paratroopers. (In Islamic reality, Muslims can kill Muslims. It’s only the infidel who can’t do this.)

Muslims have rarely responded to jihadist attacks - not even soi-disant ‘moderate’ Muslims. Actually, that is not quite the whole truth. Often Muslims will respond to jihadist outrages in Europe and in the wider world. But only when questioned or quizzed by the kuffar media. Obviously, when asked if they are against gratuitous slaughter, they will say ‘yes’. They may even use the taqiyya phrase that ‘Islam is the religion of peace’. (The 'peace' that follows the entires world’s submission to Allah... they don’t mention the last bit.) The same was true of 9/11 and London’s 7/7 attacks. Again, Muslims didn’t take to the streets or do anything... spontaneously. Again, lots of stuff was said by ‘moderate’ Muslims - but only when they were questioned or quizzed. If they were neither questioned nor quizzed, these ‘moderate’ Muslims would have said nothing. A painful and hypocritical silence would have been kept by the Muslim community.

So although we are rightfully disgusted
by the graffiti in support of Merah and his actions (see right), we should also question why moderate Muslims - or all the Muslims who don’t have the honesty to openly praise this man - have once again been despicably silent about such barbarity.

Let’s be more specific about this Muslim silence. On the website of ASMA - the American Society for Muslim Advancement, led by Abdul Rauf of the ground-zero mosque fame - there is nothing about what what Merah did. And CAIR? Nothing! The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA)? Nothing. The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA)? Nothing. The Muslim Students Association? Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

Why was there nothing from all these moderate Muslims? The answer is simple. In many - if not all - respects, their religion, Islam, does not allow or enable them to criticise what are actually bona fide acts of jihad (such as Merah’s actions). Theologically, scholastically and politically, Merah’s actions were thoroughly Islamic in nature. And the moderate Muslims know this just as much as counter-jihadists know it. Yet the game of Being a Moderate Muslim for the Western Media must go on despite the fact that even many of those of a liberal or leftist bent can, in their heart of hearts, see that there is a game being played here.

As the Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Erdogan, recently said: ‘There is no moderate Islam. Islam is Islam.’
